Roger Gonzalez
Dr. Roger V. Gonzalez is Chair and Professor of Leadership Engineering at The University of Texas at El Paso. A graduate of UT Austin in BME and ME, was awarded NIH’s National Research Service Award in neuromuscular control and musculoskeletal biomechanics while at Northwestern Medical School. He founded and serves as CEO of LIMBS International, a non-profit corporation which develops low-cost prosthetic devices for under-developed areas of the world. He has been awarded an ASEE Teaching Award and the Minnie Stevens Piper Award for excellence in teaching. He also serves as an engineering program evaluator for ABET.
