Scott Sell
Dr. Sell is currently an Assistant Professor in Biomedical Engineering at Parks College. He received his education from Virginia Commonwealth University; receiving his B.S. in Biomedical Engineering in 2003, his M.S. in Biomedical Engineering in 2006, and his Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering in 2009 under the tutelage of Dr. Gary Bowlin. Following graduation, Dr. Sell completed a 3 year Polytrauma Research post-doc at the VA Medical Center in Richmond, VA. Dr. Sell conducts research in the areas of tissue engineering and regenerative medicine, particularly focusing on various scaffold fabrication techniques to create extracellular matrix analogues for dermal and musculoskeletal repair.
