Donald Webster
Biography
Dr. Donald Webster has been a faculty member in Civil & Environmental Engineering at Georgia Tech since 1997. His research expertise lies in environmental fluid mechanics with an emphasis on the influence of fluid mechanics and turbulence on biological systems. Webster’s educational activities include serving as the co-PI on a NSF-IGERT program that trains graduate students in the physics, chemistry, and ecology of chemical and hydrodynamic signaling in aquatic communities (he also serves as a faculty mentor for a similarly-themed NSF-REU program). Further, he has developed blended classroom pedagogies and published research papers demonstrating the effectiveness of the approach.
