Ergun Simsek
Dr. Ergun Simsek completed his Ph.D. at Duke University (Durham, NC) in 2006 and worked as a postdoctoral research associate at Schlumberger-Doll Research (Cambridge, MA) till 2008. Between 2008 and 2011, he was a faculty member and a Marie Curie fellow at Bahcesehir University (Istanbul, Turkey). In August 2011, he joined the George Washington University as an assistant professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. Dr. Simsek's current and past studies are engaged with theoretical, computational, and experimental research at the broad interface between electromagnetics and optics. Dr. Simsek teaches courses in electromagnetic theory and nano optics.
