Brian Skromme
Brian Skromme is Professor of Electrical, Computer, & Energy Engineering and Assistant Dean of the Fulton Schools of Engineering at Arizona State University. He received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering (with high honors) from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He was member of technical staff at Bellcore from 1985-1989, when he joined ASU. He has also been a visiting researcher at Motorola SPS and at Freescale. His expertise is in compound semiconductor materials and devices, and in engineering education and development of tutorial software for engineering. He has over 125 refereed publications and has been the recipient of several teaching and best paper awards, and has presented a variety of invited papers. He is active in university-level curriculum and general studies committees and the graduate council at ASU.
