Biography
Ahmad (Mo) Khalil is the Innovation Career Development Professor and Assistant Professor of Biomedical Engineering at Boston University. He serves as the Associate Director and Founding Core Member of the Boston University Center of Synthetic Biology (CoSBi). He is also a Visiting Scholar at the Wyss Institute for Biologically Inspired Engineering at Harvard University. His research is primarily in systems & synthetic biology. His lab uses quantitative and engineering approaches to understand the design principles of complex biological systems and to develop new tools for rationally programming cells for biomedical and other applications.
