Ning Jenny Jiang
Dr. Jiang obtained her Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology. She then did a postdoc training in Bioengineering at Stanford University. Her lab focuses on using a systems biology approach to study immunology. A dysfunctional or dysregulated immune system not only fails to offer protection, it can also introduce unnecessary immune responses such as allergies or autoimmune diseases. Using high-throughput sequencing and single-cell measurement in combination with quantitative analysis, Professor Jiang is interested in understanding the complex interactions among immune cells and between immune cells and cytokines and chemokines with an ultimate goal of immune engineering.
