Applications are invited for Lecturer positions in the Electrical Engineering Technology program within the College of Engineering and Science (COES) for highly qualified candidates. Faculty in COES are currently discussing the expansion of the Electrical Engineering Technology program and are in the midst of considering several directions for this expansion. The successful candidates will have the opportunity to help shape the future direction of the program in the context of a highly interdisciplinary team-based approach to undergraduate education which integrates Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics.

The ideal candidate should have earned a Ph.D. degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology or a closely related field. At a minimum, the candidate should hold a master's degree in the area of Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or a master's degree with 18 graduate semester hours in one of these disciplines, with at least 3 years of professional and/or teaching experience in a relevant field. A proven track record with outstanding teaching, written and oral communication skills as well as a demonstrated commitment to high quality student success are expected. Candidates should also demonstrate: the ability to work collegially as well as independently; excellent leadership and organizational skills; and a willingness to keep abreast of developments in electrical engineering technology.
