Biography
Samantha Brunhaver is an Assistant Professor of Engineering in the Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering at Arizona State University. She teaches user centered design, engineering mechanics, and educational research methods courses. Her grants include the Revolutionizing Engineering Departments (RED) project at ASU which focuses on the professional formation of engineers through increased risk-taking and innovation by engineering faculty. She also studies engineering career pathways, professional engineering practice, and the development of pedagogy to improve student learning and engagement. She received her B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University and her M.S. and Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University.
