Biography
Benjamin Ahn is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Aerospace Engineering at Iowa State University. His research interests include (1) integrating student-centered pedagogy and technology in engineering classrooms, (2) assessing the development of undergraduates’ research skills, (3) examining the roles of mentors in undergraduate research settings, and (4) developing engineering students’ professional skills. Benjamin received his Ph.D. in Engineering Education from Purdue, M.S. in Aeronautics and Astronautics from Purdue, and B.E. in Aerospace Engineering from the University of New South Wales. Prior to joining Iowa State University, he was a Postdoctoral Associate for the MIT-SUTD Collaboration at MIT.
