Faculty members who are developing and implementing innovative educational approaches in a variety of engineering disciplines came together for the 2-1/2-day event, where they shared ideas, learned from research and best practice in education, and left with a charter to bring about improvement in their home institution.
Panel discussions focused on online learning, including MOOCs, gaming, and flipping classrooms. In addition, four FOEE alums discussed how attending impacted their career. Attendees also participated in a poster session, small group work, and both formal and informal networking and mentoring.
