Biography
Scot Douglass (PhD University of Colorado)is the Director of the Engineering Honors Program and Faculty-in-Residence of the Andrews Hall Residential College at the University of Colorado Boulder. Professor Douglass is a President's Teaching Scholar and recipient of multiple teaching awards. He is the architect of an Honors Program that does not have an Honors Curriculum but cultivates an Honors culture, leadership and a comprehensive approach to education that transcends the classroom. As a humanist rostered in the College of Engineering, Professor Douglass researches the intersection of philosophy, literature and the integration of vocation with values, commitments and larger responsibilities.
