Move into 10-12 affinity groups with 6-7 people at most per group
4:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Breakout discussions in affinity groups
Committee/Speakers moderate discussions
Begin with a minute reflection with everyone jotting down some ideas for the discussion
Questions:
- What identifies you as an affinity group? What is your group title and what problem are you solving?
- In what ways will you collaborate?
- How are you going to sustain your affinity group?
- Do you expect to use the website? What would help you on the website?
- What are your three biggest ideas that can be developed moving forward?
- If those three ideas come to fruition, what is your vision of engineering education?
- If you were going to turn this into a proposal, give your elevator pitch.
5:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Informal networking session/cocktail hour/socialize
-
(Plaza Arbor)
Monday Minute Feedback Cards: One take-home point/most interesting, valuable, useful thing you learned; One question that is uppermost in your mind; What has not been useful?
