The Vice President for Research and Innovation Partnerships is the senior academic officer for academic research and artistry at NIU and oversees the operation of Sponsored Programs Administration; Federal Relations; Office of Research Compliance, Integrity and Safety; Office of Innovation, and Northern Illinois University Press. This person is a member of the President’s cabinet, Northern Illinois Research Foundation (NIRF), and other select committees; and is a standing member of the Provost’s Staff and bodies such as the University Council, University Council Personnel Committee, Council of Deans, and Academic Planning Council.
